GEM&M’S is renowned for a wide range of manufactured homes and modular homes.
How do they differ?
Both homes look like any other house, and they are both built to standards that make them a safe and sound investment. Here are the most important differences.
Manufactured Homes
Depending on the floor layout, manufactured houses are either constructed in a single unit or in many sections. They don’t need a permanent foundation since they are built on a permanent chassis. These houses provide the greatest value in home purchases due to their effective, high-quality construction. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) code compliance is a feature of manufactured houses. You’ll often see the term “HUDs” while searching for them. The terms “mobile homes” and “trailer homes” have been used to refer to factory-built homes before the Federal Manufactured Home Construction Safety Standards. The HUD code governs a home’s layout, structure, structural toughness, mobility, fire resistance, and energy efficiency. Additionally, it specifies performance requirements for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical standards.
